Q.

#AskTheExpert My kid is 3.5 years old. he has milk allergy. we give him soya milk. whenever we tried introducing milk he gets some issue. last month he got constipation. we have started homeopathy treatment since last 1 week. constipation persists. 2 days back we gave him suppository, now it's again almost 3 days now and he hasn't done potty. plz guide me with: is it okay to give suppository (we gave him suppository 2.5 days back and he did potty with that. now again it's 2.5 days and he hasn't some potty yet, he keeps trying but can't do. he eats everything, rich in fibres and water also as needed in constipation.

A. if there is an allergy then it will lead to some kind of response from the body that shows that the body is not accepting it. best will be to wait for a couple of months or years. ideally some children outgrow this milk lactose intolerance . you could even look at homeopathic treatment for this. but always consult your pediatrician itself once before giving any other medicine also.
