#AskTheExpert my granddaughter Kadhambari is 5 months old, she got her first teeth ,in the lower jaw ,canine teeth,is it alright?, should we give her teether ,is it a must? thank u doctor.

A. Hi teethers are not necessary but you can give chilled silicon based teething rings or toys to chew on.. this will increase the blood circulation and hasten the eruption process of teeth..

A. Hi It’s all normal Consult your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment Maintain hygiene Maintain hydration Give teether or pacifier Give adequate feeding Wash hands often before touching your baby
