Q.

#asktheexpert My girl child has developed cavities in her 6 teeth.. dentist has advised pulpectomy ... However, in 1st sitting only she was uncomfortable and she got lots of sores in her mouth...Presently we are making her brush twice a day and she is nearly having any pain..is it still necessary to carry out pulpectomy?? or she will be ok just by maintaining oral hygiene?

A. can take another Dr opinion whenever there is confusion regarding the treatment given by your doctor and if you are not satisfied with the answers you can always take a second opinion of another doctor of the same field. weather a particular investigation or treatment is proper or not can be confirmed only after taking relevant history and doing proper examination of the child which will be done by the second doctor.

A. Hello this requires a proper medical attention and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too and better to go as advised by your doctor
