#AskTheExpert my girl baby is 1 year 5 months old.. weight is 11.5 kgs.. she catched cold.. running nose.. sometimes sneezing too.. but she s active.. I have t-minic syrup... how much and how many times I have to give her to cure it.. kindly suggest me..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and feverjg which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
