#AskTheExpert my girl baby 50 days old. Her birth weight is 2.5 kg. Now weight is 3.6 kg.Is it normal?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. baby will be gaining around 20 to 25 grams per day in first 3 months of age the birth weight of the baby will become two times by the end of 5 months of age

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 8 m old girl3 years agoA. In the initial months, baby should gain 140-200 gms weight per week and by 5th month, it should double the birth weight. Your baby's growth is fine, just keep feeding milk in every 2-3 hours which should include atleast 2 times night feed too. If breastfeeding, make sure to take care of your healthy diet too.
