Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. may be due ti the flu .Some running nose or phlem is due to the common cold and flu due to season change . Steam along with other home remedy like maintain baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .

Hello This will be suggested to you you have to get a check with your doctor to know what is the incidents intensity of cough or issue that the child is facing accordingly the correct medicine can be advised as of now I can only tell you to give indirect steam and nebulisation to your child before sleeping
