Q.

#AskTheExpert My Daughter was crying in her sleep and wasnt opening her eyes. We had to shout to bring her out of sleep to make her stop crying. We are scared. This is the first time such incident has taken place.

A. if the child is crying at this age it can be due to either teething pain or it might be a part of colic paind due to some digestion problem or it might be due to nasal blockage or some body pain which might be initiation of a viral fever also. also look for fever, oral ulcer, insect bite or skinrash and allergy.d you have to treat according to the findings so better to visit a doctor.
