#asktheexpert my daughter was born at 3.1 kg and is now 5.7 kgs ..at 2 months old.. is weight gain adequate?

A. It is actually better than adequate as a child should gain a minimum of 500 g to 1 kg in a month your child has gained more than 2 kg in two months so that’s on the higher side so there is absolutely nothing for you to be worried about the weight gain
