#asktheexpert my daughter us 1.8 yr old . She is not speaKing but try to mur mur the voice and made us understand by pointing out on particular thing. Should v consult doctor for it?

A. Hello dear parent, do not worry much about it . Your baby is only 1 year 8 months old. Babies usually start speaking MA pa da na etc. By age 2 years. And by 2.5 years they learn around 7 to 8 words. You will have to interact with your baby a lot. And in a very clear tone. As that will help baby to understand what you are saying and would imitate.
