Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter turned 4 this August. But her weight is not increasing..Her weight is 15kgs since 3yrs now..She looks very small and thin in front of other kids of her age group..I give her proper food still her weight is not increasing..She is very active, always jumps, dance , play around.Can this be the reason her weight is not increasing?

A. Hi mommy Give healthy protein rich nutritious food take seasonal fruits and vegetables which is rich in all minerals and vitamins maintain hydration Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc Give three meal and two snacks Wash hands often
