#Asktheexpert My daughter is suffering from cold and cough and is not eating at all from last 4-5 days? she is on mother feed only. what to give her to eat?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least one week.
you have to provide plenty of water tor drink and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite.
if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add dmultivitamin supplements to increase the appetite.
