Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is putting her fist in her mouth she is 3 months old. I am worried as some bacteria may enter and also we apply moisturizer to her hands. Should we forcefully stop it now? or let her do it?

A. no need to remove the finger and hands from the oral cavity and just maintain hygiene of anything which is going inside the oral cavity and many times it is a part of tooth eruption process

A. Hi mommy Maintain hygiene Give teether or pacifier Give adequate feeding Burp well after every feeding Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation Wash hands often before touching your baby
