#AskTheExpert my daughter is of 6 months and suffered from cold in the last week and with medication she is normal now.. but she has a lot of phlegm in her throat which causes her cough and discomfort plss any suggestions to get rid of phlegm

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. can you ambrodil drops 1 ml 2 times a day Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

Hi See it’s very good if You nebulise your child along with the medicines that you are giving because nebulisation will always help in reducing in melting down the cough in the chest and throat of your child so ask your doctor start nebulising your child a minimum 45 days and twice in a day
