#asktheexpert My daughter is nine months old and there’s a red mark on her cheek due to mosquito bite or I don’t know how, so is there any medicine or ointments for her?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is important to prevent mosquito bite by using other mosquito nets and the second option would be mosquito repellent vaxporizer. there are also available cloth roll on. you can apply mosquito repellent cream on the skin if it is not causing any allergy.
make the child wear full clothes to decrease the chances of bite and if a bite occurs you can apply coconut oil to decrease the sensation.
also can use atarax anti itch lotion/ ritch lotion to decrease itching.

RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. You can apply coconut oil mixed with Kapoor onto that area that is going to help in settling down the redness and the rash or if there is a little bit of swelling also onto that area this is going to help in settling it down
