#AskTheExpert my daughter is having stomach pain two to three times a day...pain will be there for 2-5 mins but seems like strong pain.and most of the times she will want to use the restroom for poop. have seen few doctors. but they said no issue and this is persisting from 5 months .need advice

Author of questionMom of 2 children2 years agoA. thanks doctor for the response.ya my doctor gave cyclopam and flagyl and also gave infestation tablet too ...will visit once again to check what can be done further

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Stomach pain in children is a common complaint seen frequently.
There could be many reasons for this .it can be funcfdtional or due to some pathology which needs to be ruled out.
Common cautses are constipation gaseous discomfort worm infestation gastritis gastroenteritis or some chronic infection .
Syp cyclopam 5 ml can be given sos for stomach pain and consult your doctor for proper examintation to rule out the cause .

need a thorough check up
then accordingly treatment..
apply coconut oil on tummy area and gently massage in circular motion
keep baby well hydrated
