#asktheexpert my daughter is having problems in bowl movement.. it is sticky and she needs to apply force while passing .. she needs 30 mins for motion to pass...her eyes face becomes red while passing.. please suggest what I can do to ease her pain

Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bfyonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are rtequired but it should be given only in medical supervision .
