#asktheexpert my daughter is having leg cramps during night at least once in a week. what to do.

A. there are multiple causes of limb pain during this age because it can be normal due to growth pain. it can also occur due to nutritional deficiency mainly vitamin d, vitamin b12 iron and calcium deficiency. if there is excessive playful activity by the child during the daytimde it is but obvious that during the night time there might be limb pain. if the limbs are paining without any activity then yes medical examination and treatment will be required

A. hi dear Soothing strategies Using a pacifier. Taking your infant for a car ride or on a walk in a stroller. Walking around with or rocking your baby. Swaddling your baby in a blanket. Giving your baby a warm bath. Rubbing your infant's tummy or placing your baby on the tummy for a back rub.
