#asktheexpert my daughter is having cold , I have been giving Allegra 2.5 ml , it's now 7 days since I started her medication. Now she has started showing symptoms of cough. we are on tour, with no access to paediatrician Please tell what medicine I can give her now

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it cjoan be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever whicgh needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
