A. simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but afxter that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which shoulhfd be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
