Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Breast milk should be given for a minimum of 6 months and for a maximum period of 2 years. You can start giving whole cow's milk and milk products once the child turns one year old. Slowly and steadily stop breastfeeding your child. Drop one breastfeed at a time.
