A. Deworming (parasite medicine) is not routinely recommended for babies under 1 year unless prescribed by a doctor. Normally, deworming is started around 12 months (1 year) or later, based on symptoms and doctor's advice. 🚨 When is Deworming Needed? You should consult a pediatrician if your baby has: ✔ Frequent stomach pain or bloating ✔ Poor weight gain despite eating well ✔ Loss of appetite or nausea ✔ Itching around the anus (especially at night) ✔ Worms visible in stool ✅ What You Can Do Now? ✔ Maintain hygiene – Wash hands before feeding. ✔ Keep nails short & clean. ✔ Wash baby’s toys & utensils regularly. ✔ Avoid giving unclean or undercooked food. If your baby has symptoms of worms, talk to your pediatrician before giving any medication. Has she been showing any signs of worm infection?
