A. At 9 months, many babies can sit independently, but some take a little longer, which can still be normal. If your daughter is not yet able to sit up by herself but has good head control and is trying to roll or reach for objects, she may just need more time and practice. Encourage her by providing tummy time and placing toys around her to strengthen her core and back muscles. However, if she shows no interest in sitting, has poor muscle tone, or seems delayed in other motor milestones, it’s best to consult a pediatrician to rule out any developmental concerns and provide appropriate guidance.
