#asktheexpert My daughter is 8 months old. she doesn't poop everyday. she poops most of days, but sometimes doesn't for one /two days. However, she passes hard stool initially and then it becomes soft. she has to put effort to pass stool. please suggest

seems normal for 8 months old baby
little bit straining is okay
nothing to worry
although please keep your child well hydrated
give food items like palak puree, tomatoes soup which help in easy digestion
