ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum, for weight gain of your 6 months old daughter, give top food three times a day and up to half katori every time. give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. consistency of food should be like that of Ghee. add Ghee to every meal. use full cream top milk to prepare recipes like porridge, kheer and give as milk products like curd, paneer. avoid fruit juice and soup. continue to breastfeed baby.

my daughter is completely on formula feed and she consumes 800 to 900 ml in a day along with cerelac 4 times a day . I will soon start with home cooked food as per ur suggestion.
