Q.

#asktheexpert My daughter is 5 years and 8 months old ..She had very high fever and swelling and severe pain in ankle . Right now she is on antibiotics and doesn't have from fever from last 42 hours and doesn't have pain in ankle zoo but swelling is still there .We consulted to orthopetic too. After xray and examination he concluded that she doesn't have any problem in bone . It may be the reaction of the inflammation she has in her body. Pls check her primary text reports and suggest whether we are on the right path or not ??

A. can continue the medicine the swelling will decrease whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for three days and follow the instructions given by the doctor and if there is no improvement after three days then take a follow up. so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whether any change in medicine or any other investigation is needed or not .
