Q.

#AskTheExpert my daughter is 4yo and recently complained of having pain in the legs a few times. She is a very picky eater and also doesn't drink milk, so can this be a case of calcium deficiency? she is a very active kid and hardly sits a place. she moves around all the time. plz advice what should be done. thank you

A. yes, it can be, give calcium rich diet instead of calcium supplement..like..Milk, ghee, yogurt serve as the good calcium source. spinach, ladyfinger, broccoli, sweet potatoes, beans, tofu, Soy milk, lentils. Brown rice, ragi etc are high in calcium. Nuts like almonds are rich in calcium. do regular massage
