#asktheexpert my daughter is 4year 8 month old and she has six fingers in both hands. so we are planning for surgery to remove extra fingers so it's good time to do it her weight is 11 kg only.

Your child is maintaining a weight for a one and a half year old child it would not be a good idea to operate right now first let your child reach a weight that is required for the age as well as for a proper surgery third if that extra is not bothering or hampering your child why do you need to go for a surgery
