#AskTheExpert My daughter is 4months 26 days old..my milk is not sufficient for her and she is not dring formula milk also..she is not gaining more weight can I start solid foods or cereal.if it is yes, can you suggest solid foods and what type of cereal can u start to her?

A. 4 to 6 months: 24 to 36 ounces of formula or milk (or five to eight nursing sessions a day) 1 to 4 tablespoons of cereal once or twice a day. 1 to 4 tablespoons of a fruit and vegetable once or twice a day.
