#asktheexpert my daughter is 4 years old and her weight is 10kg. plz suggest how she can gain weight. what food should include in her diet I am a ve g.

A. dear parent, your child's weight is on the lower side. if your child is active, playful, achieving all growth milestones then do not worry. follow the growth curve with doctor. Give a balanced diet having variety of food groups: grains and millets 4 servings pulses / legumes: 1-2 servings seasonal vegetables including green leafy vegetables: 1.5 serving fruits1 serving milk and milk products 500ml sugar 4 tsp oil 5 tsp control intake of process packaged food
