#asktheexpert my daughter is 4 months old her eyes is always sticky and running. what should I do??

normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again.d
use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes
if the child'ds eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge coming out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection .
do not use any drops witout medical consultation

If you see watering eyes then there may be a possibility of tear duct blockage so you can do a massage on the nose of the child in between the area of the eyes clockwise and anticlockwise at least 10 times and 3 to 4 times in the day that is going to help and for cleaning the eyes maintain hygiene by cleaning them properly with warm water every 3 to 5 hours
