Check the weight as per the birth weight which is expected to monthly gain in the range of 400 gm to 1kg and by age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight.
This is in terms of full term baby.
You could probably prefer to observe if the drolling is developed recently could very well be due to teething , check if the gums are getting hard,
Other is if this issue is been since birth as such , then baby needs to be examined to come to right diagnosis
