#AskTheExpert My daughter is 3 years old and weighs 10.6 kgs. She falls sick very frequently, almost every second month. She catches cold, cough and sometimes fever. Though her activities are fine. We are concerned as she is underweight and frequently falls sick. Please suggest.

A. Monsoon season comes with different kind of challenges for the children they need some special care because the climatic changes can cause some illnesses specially infective diseases so special care iuds required to maintain a proper hygiene and to build a good immunity for the children specially vaccination eg help A typhoid flu vaccine is important which can prevent perticular disease .

A. hi dear While all children may grow at a different rate, the following indicate the average for 3-year-old boys and girls: Weight: average gain of about 4 to 6 pounds per year. Height: average growth of about 2 to 3 inches per year.
