Q.

#asktheexpert My daughter is 3 year old and is frequently constipated. I make sure there is enough water and Fibre intake and no junk food. Using lactulose solution daily, but still no improvement.

A. Hi mommy Avoid using that syrup let it be natural Consult with your doctor once and follow his advice Serve plenty of whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Offer apricots, plums, peas, beans, broccoli etc increase water fluid intake of your child Encourage daily exercise. Being active gets the blood flowing to the intestines, helping to stimulate gut contractions and help to reduce constipation
