#AskTheExpert my daughter is 1yr 3 month , of she has fever how much calpol should be given at a time? She is 13 kgs. IS the medicine given as per age or weight

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. if you have got calpol 250 mg you can give 5 ml to the child for fever and this medicine can be repeated maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature

It is advisable for you to get your baby personally examined by your doctor and seek further advice. Dosage and duration for medication depends on the severity of the discomfort. Clarify all your concerns and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Keep your baby hydrated all through the day.
