#asktheexpert my daughter is 13 years old. Her face is not glowing from High fever. I give healthy food. but she face is thin. what I do sir

A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for fuless appetite like iron deficiency which is most common. Supplements like iron supplements and multivitadmin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite. Diet counselling is also very important .

A. I’m not understanding the face is not glowing because of high fever so if your child is suffering with fever little bit of darkness on the face is definitely going to be there once your child starts to feel better you can give varieties of fruits to the child which are rich in highly rich vitamin C they’re going to be be helpful for overall glow and nourishment in the face
