#asktheexpert My daughter is 10 months old but doesn't take bottle feed. However, she takes breastmilk and food.

A. dear mum, it is fine if your baby is not taking bottle feeding. you should continue to breastfeed. breast milk should be the primary source of milk for baby. Bottle is risky because in spite of good cleaning bottle can cause many infections in the baby. Due to easy availability of milk a baby gets habituated to bottle-feeding & subsequently refuses to feed at the breast. Bottle can also cause problems with teeth & can have deleterious effect on mother-infant bonding.
