Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is 1 year 10 months old. But she is not responding when we call by her name. She is not making eye contact with any 3rd person. She likes to listen songs But when we talk to her, she will not respond. Please give solution for this

A. development by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the cgrowth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not. if child has good understanding and follows orders acnd command of the parents properly then do not worry much about speech as will eventually come. talk more with child. avoid tv mobile laptop. involve more people to interact with the child

Hi mommy Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc Maintain hydration
