#AskTheExpert My daughter is 1.5 month old now. initially she didn't gain weight as she was not latching well so we started feeding her breast milk in bottle. Now she's not latching at all and cries when came closer to breast. Can we continue feeding her breast milk via bottle? birth weight : 3.2 kg one month : 3.6 kg 1.5 month : 4.3 kg

A. yes you can baby will take time to learn how to latch on nipple. also babies get used to the feeding habits over time. you can express your breast milk and feed yput baby. also continue offering breast whenever you feel baby is hungry. this will help in improving is feeding techniques. do keep on expressing breast milk or supply will go down as it depends on baby's demand.
