#asktheexpert My daughter has mild tongue tie.. Pediatric surgeon assessed and said it has to be released but after completing 1 year.. Her weight gain is also very slow as she is not able to chew food.. So her solid intake is low.. Could it be due to tongue tie?

A. ,, dear mother yes due to to tongue tie toddler mayfield difficulty to swallow food and sometime speech difficulties with sounds requiring a mobile tongue can also be there you must seek your specialist help as no home remedy can go for it but as you can start giving coconut water to increase your baby's appetite and focus more on liquids
