Q.

#asktheexpert my daughter has dry patches since birth. Is it normal? These patches keep coming and disappearing. How long is it going to take to heal completely.

A. it is very normal that many times the child will not be able to produce proper oil and sweating which will help in increasing the moisturizing and that leads to dryness patch. you can only control this problem with the help of moisturizing oil and soap and lotion which has to be applied again and again till the time the skin of the child matures

Follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Give your child a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated. Check for any food allergy.
