Q.

#asktheexpert My daughter has difficulty in defecation. She eats properly but while doing defecation she tightens her legs and does not allow defecation

A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everydayz and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple bananaz kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

A. I think your child could be suffering with constipation which is why your child is behaving like this because when a child has to apply a lot of pressure sometimes they do not poop so make your child comfortable put some oil or soap into that area for easy pooping yet if you’re facing the same problem then please consult your doctor
