#AskTheExpert My daughter has 10 months. She has committed more than 5 times yesterday and she has cough and running nose too. Please help

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be givejdn to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and please give your baby indirect steam two to three times a day and als O evaluate once with doctor in person as medicine is given as per baby weight and age. Take care
