#AskTheExpert my daughter farts is so smelly n she is not popping instead farts which smells so bad. n my breast milk supply is not enough i am feeding her Nan pro formula. what shall I do to make her poop n to stop the gas

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. it's normal Check if the baby is having any colic pain give colicaid drops as prescribed by your doctor feed the baby in sitting and c arm position burp everytime after feeding adequately maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

Smelly farts are there due to the formula milk that you are giving..
secondly formula milk causes constipation in babies .
Babies can go without poop for 5-6 days altogether and even more.
If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise then no need to worry.
Burp ur baby well after every feed in upright position to prevent gas formation in stomach
