Q.

#asktheexpert , my daughter eat less food but she have milk and fruits only.. what we should do to have solid foods?

A. try to have meals together with your family to develop good eating habits.. offer lots of finger foods and let child eat on its own. start iron calcium and multivitamins supplements regularly

A. Hello dear parent! Let the child be physically active and healthy as much as possible. Limit the milk intake to maximum of 500ml per day so that the rest of the nutrition comes from healthy solids. Include all food groups in your child’s diet that you prefer eating as a family. Involve your child in family meals to encourage eating healthy foods by looking others in the family. Give finger foods. Be patient and persistent in your efforts.
