#AskTheExpert my daughter doesn't eat well and still she needs to be fed like a 6 month old baby..all grinded food..she doesn't eat much solid food..as I try to feed her roti ..rice solid she pukes..her weight is 12.7 ..she is very much active in everything except food ..what do I do ?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. Offer new foods when you and your toddler are relaxed and your toddler isn't too tired or distracted by other things. Set a time limit of about 20 minutes for a meal. If your toddler hasn't eaten the food, calmly take it away. Don't offer an alternative snack or meal.Introduce new foods with old favorites. Seeing a favorite on your child's plate makes the new food less scary. ...Offer without pressuring. ...Offer a small portion. ...Let them see you enjoy the food. ...Try, try again.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy2 years agoA. the weight is absolutely fine for a 2 and half years old baby. some children are fussy for eating. you keep trying her giving a little solid food. she will take some time develop this eating habit. give her things which she likes. for eg a sandwich or dal ka cheella.
