Q.

#asktheexpert my daughter does not lie on bed, if we keep her on bed she starts crying but if held in hand she'll be quite. she plays very less and most of the time cries. I'd there any problem

A. it is very common that during the initial few months the child gets comfortable sleep only in the arms or lap or shoulder of the caretaker and when you shift to bed the child might start crying.x this is fine and normal and usually improves with age. you can use swaddling technique as well as cradle sleep to improve the sleep cycle of the child.

A. Basically your child has gotten used to staying in the lap which is why this is happening so try to keep your child always on the bed bed only and play with your child if the child is crying try to comfort your child in the same position only play some music you can put rattle with sound into that so just try to entertain your child that way and slowly the habit is going to break
