Q.

#asktheexpert My daughter Aditi is 9 months old now. Her eyes keep watering since childhood. I got myself examined at many places but there is little relief. She is not completely cured. What should I do?

A. Exactly the type of massage you suggested, I consulted all the doctors and they all told me the same thing that they give me normal drops to put in the eyes, but even after 9 months have passed I am still not cured. Sometimes I feel a little relief but it is not completely cured. In such a situation, should I get my daughter's eye checked at a bigger hospital or should I keep doing the massage regularly, there is a possibility of recovery from that only.

A. Maybe it was due to tear duct blockage I’m very surprised how come your doctor didn’t tell you this because water does not happen from the eyes of the child and if it is then it’s associated with tear Dr blockage so you can massage on the nose of your child in between the area of the eyes that particular portion on the nose clockwise and anticlockwise 5 to 10 times and 3 to 4 times in the day
