#asktheexpert my daughter Aaradhi is 2.7 years old . what should be her right diet ( calorie intake amount) in this age and what food I can give her to increase her immunity.

A. Toddlers are really active and it is important to feed them meal full of all essential nutrients. Include every type of food alongwith chicken, eggs, fish and variety of fluids like water, buttermilk, fresh juices, coconut water, curd, etc. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks. For boosting immunity, feed fresh, home cooked foods and give citrus foods like orange, mausambi, guava, pineapple, papaya, kiwi, tomatoes, green leafy vegetables, carrots, broccoli, etc. Keep the surroundings clean and maintain personal hygiene.
