#AskTheExpert my daughter 7 yrs, 32kgs is having a recurrent uti, first on 5 days milixim , after farapanem 7 days, now on ceftriozone and amitax injection for 6 days, should we continue with this antibiotics in order to kill the whole bacteria

A. now she is taken antibiotics injection amitax and switch xp, is 7 days enough?

A. usually have to complete course of 14 days antibiotics in this case it is important to rule out urinary tract infection for which urine report as well as urine culture needs to be done. kindly take plenty of fluids to drink to and maintain hygiene of the urinary area and contact your doctor for relevant examination and investigation at the earliest

A. good morning you have to understand that UTI is a very serious concern because if it happens again and again then it can cause a lot of problems so I would recommend you to never leave the course of treatment incomplete for UTI it has always to be completed
