#AskTheExpert my daughter 21months old is complaining of little pain during toilet since yesterday. Not too much pain just she mentions pain once during peeing. And she insists on washing the area more and more. she stands and pees. what should I do?

A. Hello, It may be a symptom of a urinary tract infection or other urinary problems. The bladder may become inflamed. This can cause pain when the bladder fills and empties. Your child may also feel pain if the urethra gets irritated or infected.
